9/23/22 - Updated RETURN time for Competition 9/24

Hello everyone,

There will be a critique session after the performances that will be critical for our students to receive direct feedback from. This will likely delay the return home by about an hour. Apologies for any inconvenience. Please remember to bring money for concessions or a packed lunch for dinner!!

9/24 Waukesha South Competition Details

Please be aware the schedule can change if changes are made by the hosts of the competition, however it is rare.

1:30-2:15pm - pack trucks with equipment managers and those using large equipment (drumline, front ensemble, guard, contras)

2:15pm - Official call time for whole band

4:30pm - Arrive at Waukesha South

4:30-6:30pm - Watch/support other band performances and eat dinner at concessions (bring a few bucks or pack a dinner)

7pm - Middleton Official warm up

8pm - Performance

9pm - Awards Ceremony

~12am - Return to Middleton

9/19/22 - Marching Band Updates

I apologize for the delay on the first competition details, we received them this weekend and have been working to get a schedule set up. Thank you for your patience, and congrats on another great performance at the game last Friday!

9/24 Waukesha South Competition Details

9/19 Rehearsal

Please be ready to go on the field at 12pm for rehearsal. The band room will be open at approximately 11:30 am pending when our break is from PD. Please bring water, and sunscreen, and wear comfortable marching clothes/shoes.

9/22 "Field Trip" Rehearsal in the Stadium

You will be dismissed from advisory through the end of the day so please inform any 7th block teacher on Tuesday you will not be there on Thursday. You should eat during the first lunch regardless of grade level and then immediately report to the field. Your attendance will be taken care of for you. Please make sure you wear something comfortable to march in.

9/23 Night Rehearsal under the lights

Rehearsal will start at 6 pm in the stadium. Please wear comfortable marching clothes, bring water, etc. The last rehearsal took longer for dismissal as we were in uniform, which should not be the case at this rehearsal. Please get some sleep before the competition the next day!

9/9/22 - Marching Band Updates

Hello everyone,

Huge congratulations to everyone for a great performance at the last football game! There's plenty to clean and improve on, but we're really happy with how we did and the potential this group has. Please see below for a couple of additional updates.

State Competition Updates! Our official performance time is 1:30 pm! This should give anyone that wants to attend homecoming plenty of time to get home after the performance. WSMA sells state sweatshirts that are available on their website as well as tickets to view the performance that night. Sweatshirts must be ordered by 9/15/22.

Night rehearsal 9/9/22

Rehearsal starts at 6 pm and we will be in full uniform for this practice. Please allow for some extra time to change into uniform and be on the field at 6 pm!

NO COMPETITION 9/10/22

This event was canceled by the hosts, enjoy the night off!

Next Home Football Game 9/16/22

The call time will be 5:30 pm

First Competition 9/24/22

We do not yet have updates on an exact performance time from the event, however, we will update as soon as we know. This is one of the larger-scale events we participate in and a culminating event for the year. Please make sure to be in attendance!
