Hello all,

Firstly a huge congratulations to the band from this last weekend! They worked very hard this week cleaning and refining the show and it was represented in our score on Sunday. The band placed first with a score of 84.00 and swept every caption including Best Musical Presentation, Best Percussion, Best Visual Presentation, and Best Colorguard. Join us next week as we compete at Sauk Prairie on Sunday! Below is some additional information about upcoming events.

Field Trip Rehearsal(s)

Most students have gone through a "field trip rehearsal" before, but for those that have not we'll list some additional information here. All students will be called out and going to FIRST lunch on the day of a field trip rehearsal. At noon, you will head immediately to the football stadium for rehearsal. You will be excused from your classes on the back end of the day. Please make sure you communicate with teachers ahead of time for things you might miss in their classes. We will release at our normal time to ensure those that ride the bus have enough time to get to that side of the school. You will need all of your normal materials for a rehearsal including good marching shoes, water, drill coordinates, tiles, etc.

Buses/Transportation

As a reminder, if you plan to show up to a competition or leave early ever, please make sure you fill out the linked waiver. The school wants a legal adult/guardian to be the one driving i.e. students cannot drive themselves. Please see the linked  transportation waiver.

Dear Band & Orchestra Families,

We're thrilled to announce the return of the Concert Program Ad opportunity - a Student Shout Out!

Each year, the band program produces a Concert Program Book distributed at every concert. Within its pages, you'll find advertisements from local businesses and heartwarming "Student Shout-Outs!"

Student Shout-Outs are a longstanding tradition with MHS Band students, particularly our seniors. They provide an exceptional opportunity for families to celebrate their student's dedication, hard work, and accomplishments in music.

Money raised from program ads allows us to provide memorable band experiences for all our students.

For details on purchasing a Student Shout Out, please see the linked form document at www.MiddletonBandBoosters.org .

Warmly,

Middleton High School Band Boosters
