MHS Band: K&A Gift Cards Now Available!

The Middleton Band Boosters are pleased to announce that K&A Greenhouse $20 Gift Cards are available for sale via our Boosters website, just in time for Mother's Day and spring planting! $20 gift cards can be ordered on our website through May 6 and picked up at the band concerts on April 30 and May 1, 5, and 6. Cards will also be available for purchase with cash or via our website at each concert event.

This is a great fundraiser because you get to buy the gift cards at face value, but $5 from each card goes to the band.  If you have planting needs this spring, be sure to stock up while supplies last!

MHS Bands: State Solo & Ensemble Confirmation

Hello students and families,

If you registered for WSMA State Solo & Ensemble, or if you qualified but did not register, please double-check this spreadsheet to ensure that you are marked correctly.  Note that ensembles are listed only under one name (the same name as your district registration).

If there are any errors, please email me as soon as possible, preferably by end-of-day Friday, so I can notify the state.  Expect them to have a schedule ready around April 20th.

Saxophone Recital & Masterclass - Chance Stine

Hello MHS band students (especially saxophonists),

Mr. Chance Stine, professional classical and jazz saxophonist and MHS alum (Class of 2014), with be in town next week on a Wisconsin tour.  Chance plays saxophone with the Pershing's Own US Army Field Band, has won or placed at various international saxophone competitions for emerging artists, and has a diverse career as a performer and teacher.

He will be presenting a masterclass (2:00pm) and concert (7:00pm) on the UW-Madison campus on Friday, April 17th.  We strongly encourage anyone interested to check it out!
