Hello band families,

We're excited to launch the annual Band & Orchestra Boosters Fruit Sale! This is our largest fundraiser of the year and raises tens of thousands of dollars that directly fund the many awesome facets of the band program. We especially need all hands on deck this year as we continue to revive our programming after virtual school last year. Please read the following information.

The fruit sale is a popular fundraiser because people actually want to buy the products! The fruit comes directly from the distributor and is much fresher than grocery store fruit - less than a week from the tree to delivery! Fruit prices are up this year but we still beat most local groceries. We ask that every student try to sell at least 5 products.

If you would rather not fundraise, consider a tax-deductible donation instead - every dollar goes directly back to the students in the band program. In 2019-20, the boosters spent an average of $121 per student; donations in any amount are greatly appreciated.

=== What: Students and families sell/buy fruit, cheese, sausage, and nuts. Why: So the bands can keep doing cool stuff! These funds support our marching and jazz bands, cool guest artists, expensive instruments, solo & ensemble, large group festival, and more. When: NOW! Items can be ordered from now until Sunday, November 14th. All products will be delivered to the high school on Saturday, December 11th. Note: unlike last year's fully online sale, products cannot be shipped to other locations. Everything must be picked up at MHS by you or the customer. How to order: This year, ordering will be done online. Customers simply go to www.middletonbandboosters.org and order their fruit. It doesn't get more convenient than that! You can also place orders on behalf of your customers if they can't order online. How to pick up: All fruit must be picked up on Saturday, December 11th. At the online checkout, customers select either "I will pick up my fruit in the morning on 12/11" or "The following student will deliver my fruit." Fundraising Incentives: The primary goal of the fundraiser is to raise money for band programming throughout the year. Students who sell a lot of fruit can also raise money toward future travel opportunities. You will be granted $250 toward future trips for every $1000 of fruit that you sell. (There is a box at the checkout for customers to enter your name to receive credit.) Happy selling! Thank you for participating and helping us offer so many great opportunities in MHS band. From the Directors:

With the 2021 marching band season over, we'd like to take the opportunity to thank our parent volunteers that helped make everything run so smoothly. Between uniform fittings, equipment loading, photography/videography, potlucks, cheering on the band, and so much more, thank you for all that you do in support of your students and the program.

Thank you to Jill Nichols, Jenny Washburn & Bill Rosholt for an amazing collection of videos & photographsdocumenting the 2021 Marching Band Season!
