We are excited to start our second rotation for Jazz Band this Monday Feb. 3rd. All bands resume at their normal time. They will continue to meet every Monday that we have school until our concert April 25th.

We want to welcome you to our yearly Jazz Cabaret Performance Friday January 17th at 7:30PM. This performance will feature all four of MHS's Jazz ensembles as well as a performance from Glacier Creek Middle School Jazz Band. Students have worked diligently throughout the fall in preparation for this performance, we hope you can join us. You will hear great performances of Jazz standards, student soloists as well as a performance of Duke Ellington's New Orleans Suite by the Seven O'clock Jazz Band. Hello Everyone,
We wanted to send out one final reminder to people about the upcoming event held tomorrow at MHS on Tuesday, December 17, @ 7 pm), where Zach Galin, president of Galin Education , will be talking about how band, orchestra, and choir can be used in the college admissions process. The event is designed for non-music and music majors to help students and families understand and optimize music classes and their time in high school to prepare them for college best. There will be opportunities for questions and a layout of how to prepare for modern college admissions. MHS music teachers will also be present to assist with any music-specific questions. Students and families are strongly encouraged to attend and RSVP using this link .
