Hello all,

Thought I'd reach out with a couple more specifics and a big thank you for volunteering Friday and Saturday

FRIDAY

Uniforms meet outside of the band room starting at student call time (5:30 pm) to help students grab the right uniform and make sure the pant length is correct. Uniform Managers are also on duty.

Equipment team, please check in at the band room to assist with any movement of the front ensemble/percussion to the stadium before the game.

Generally, if you are available after the game, we'd love your help. If the game runs long, or you cannot stay until the end, it's no worries as well. The primary assistance is at the beginning.

SATURDAY

All Student call times are the start of every volunteering. As the times for the events depend on when we perform, the student call time is the most accurate. All of the roles are the same as Friday night roles. UHaul driving will be the only one that is specifically to and returning from competition, as we can't get the truck back otherwise. We will have two UHauls for the first competition.

Loading trucks is usually mostly led by a band director as we have a general idea of how the tetric game goes to fit everything.

If you have any additional comments, questions, concerns, etc., please feel free to reach out and thank you again!

Hello Band Families, With a growing level of interest and some families needing an additional day or two for photo submission, we will be extending our deadline for program ads/student spotlights to 9/22! For families, many people use the space to highlight their students, however some families prefer to use the space to support the program by highlighting a family/local business or promoting a non-profit/charity they support. This is our most successful fundraiser of the year and 100% of the proceeds go directly back to the program for guest artists, scholarships, instruments, etc. so please consider supporting if you haven't already! Thanks so much for your time, MHS Band Boosters

Hello everyone,

Firstly, a big congrats to the group on their first official performance last week at the football game! Everyone did very well and we're excited to see the additional growth as we get closer to state! A special thank you to parents and families that took time out of their day to volunteer and/or stay after the game to support your students and the program.

Homecoming Week We'll send out information next week with more detailed timing, otherwise, the dates in the calendar are all still correct. Sauk Prairie and UW-Whitewater (State) We are still waiting on final drafts of schedules to get more accurate timing for buses, etc. We do know that our State performance time is at approx. 9 pm.
