Dear band parents and students,
We are excited to announce the creation of a full-time Music Teacher and Associate Director of Bands position for next year, made possible through continued curricular growth. This will partially replace the split position held this year by Ms. Bedard, who has accepted a teaching position in the Milwaukee area to be closer to family.
We are thrilled to welcome Mr. Eric Rothacker as this new addition to our team. Mr. Rothacker hails from the University of Michigan - Ann Arbor, where he studied bassoon performance and music education. We welcome the depth and breadth of musical experience that Mr. Rothacker will bring to our students, including study with some of the world's greatest living wind conductors, work with Phantom Regiment Drum and Bugle Corps, and extensive solo, chamber, and orchestral performance experience. We are certain that Mr. Rothacker's warm and energetic personality and commitment to music education will help us continue the growth and success of the Middleton band program.
