September 10, 2017 Campus Messenger - Marching Band Competition Weekend Details

It's a competition week for the marching band!  Here are all the details for the weekend along with a few reminders. 1. Attendance - If anything has come up that will cause you to miss the competitions (family emergency, etc), let the directors know immediately. 2. Health Forms - The permission slip/health form that was passed out last week is due Monday at our ASR rehearsal.  It is also attached to this email for your convenience; only the first two pages need to be filled out.  If you are waiting on a doctor's signature (prescription medications only) and need to turned in on Tuesday, that's OK but please let us know.  Per health office guidelines, students who do not turn in forms by the deadline cannot be allowed on the trip.  3. Itinerary - Please click here to view a timeline for the weekend. 4. Packing List -   -Instrument, extra reeds/sticks/valve oil  -Water bottle, sunscreen (for the Sunday morning rehearsal)  -Money for concessions on Sunday  -Sack meal for Saturday evening (eaten at MHS or on the bus)  -Toiletries/snacks as desired for an overnight  -Clothing to wear to bed Saturday and for Sunday morning's rehearsal.  -Marching show shirt (distributed Friday) In addition to the above, students will wear their uniform, including marching shoes and long black socks, on the bus on Saturday.  The show shirt is to be worn under the uniform and at any time when we are out in public. 5. Parent Transportation - Any students not riding the bus with the group at any point during the trip should contact the directors right away.  Additionally, parents will need to have filled out the athletics transportation waiver available on FeePay.
