Band students and parents:

Please check out the following information about a great local opportunity that is run by a Middleton band parent.  Middleton students, parents, and all community members are encouraged to come play, sing or just listen to jazz every other Wednesday at Common Ground on Century Ave.  Especially with jazz auditions this week, this is a great way to get more experience with the art form in a low-pressure environment.  Play with friends on anything from 12-bar blues to standards, or just hang out and listen if you're not quite ready to play.

Last year we had a great community of students that came regularly.  Consider coming out this Wednesday, Sept 26th.  Questions?  Contact Laurie Lang (mother of MHS senior Lucy Croasdale) for info at <jazzbassmama@gmail.com>.
