Congratulations to 14 Middleton High Schoolband students who have been accepted, through an audition process, into the Winds of Wisconsin (WoW), a premier high school wind ensemble on the UW-Madison campus! Winds of Wisconsin is associated with the University of Wisconsin Madison School of Music and is
conducted by Scott Teeple, Associate Professor of Music at UW-Madison.
The following students will be in the 2018-2019 Winds of Wisconsin ensemble:

Max Balasubramaniam, percussion
Luke Whittingham, percussion
Winds of Wisconsin is composed of a select group of Wisconsin high school wind and percussion instrumentalists who perform traditional and contemporary wind band literature. The purposes of WoW are to provide outstanding young musicians an opportunity to learn wind literature of the highest quality, to work with faculty who have made music education of youth a top priority and to make lifelong connections with others who share a love and passion for music.
The wind ensemble performs high quality band repertoire and will be performing concerts on Sunday, November 18, 2018 at 7:00 pm in a joint concert with the UW-Madison Wind Ensemble. The Winds of Wisconsin will also perform on Sunday, March 3, 2019 at 6:00 pm in Mills Concert Hall, Humanities Building.
Concerts are general admission and free of charge; no tickets are required. All are welcome.
